Club Feroviar organises the second edition of the conference entitled “Financing systems for railway transport”.  Set in the proper space for developing business meetings of Poiana Braşov mountain resort, in Piatra Mare Hotel, between March 29th and 30th 2007, the event aims at reuniting project managers in the railway domain and financial institutions.

New projects are generated by EU accession

A meeting on this theme is very important in the context of Romania’s accession to the European Union. New technical conditions regarding interoperability of Romanian and European railway system, the new conditions of administrating the production spaces, as well as the new opportunities of co-financing from national public funds and European ones open the road towards accelerating investments in Romanian railway system. 
The presence of project managers in the state and private sector, along with representatives of the Ministries of Public Finances; Transports, Constructions and Tourism; Environment and Water Management, give you the chance to identify the vision of development of this important economic component, as well as the best solutions of financing for the existent and future projects, the opportunities and the limits provided by the legislation and the norms in force.

The decision makers of railway sector will share there ideas

In order to assure the success of this initiative, besides representatives of the above mentioned governmental institutions, there were also invited decision-makers of national administrator of infrastructure, of freight and passenger operators – state and private-, of wagon owners and providers of railway products. Over 60 decision-makers in Romanian Railway system are estimated to take part in the conference in Poiana Braşov.
